Moving to the Wood Centre For Innovation

July 2024

Cancer patients are in desperate need of the promising immunotherapies that we have in development. The Oxford Trust and the supportive community they have built at the Wood Centre for Innovation is an ideal home for our team to focus on the research needed to make these treatments a reality.
— Kevin Maskell, CEO & CSO

Bioarchitech recently moved from the BioEscalator to the Oxford Trust's Wood Centre for Innovation (WCFI) to continue our work in cancer immunotherapy. The BioEscalator was a great location to have been in for the last three years, allowing us access to great facilities and connections. Chief Scientific Officer, Kevin Maskell, explains that to continue the company’s pioneering focus on mining the genetic code of viruses to produce multifunctional drugs that kill and protect against cancer cells, a larger space was needed to accommodate for future expansion of the team. The new location, close to Oxford's research hubs, also provides larger lab space which will be essential in the next steps of our research, allowing enhanced collaboration and resources for our mission to innovate cancer treatment.
